Probation in DRIBBBLE
Dribbble (dribble) is an online service uniting graphic designers, web designers, illustrators and 3D-visualizers. The authors post their work, evaluate the projects of other community participants and pump a reputation. But one reputation is not enough. Runned in 2009, Dribbble became one of the main places for demonstrating and discussing design work, as well as for interaction with colleagues and companies looking for talented designers.
A feature of Dribbble is the publication of small fragments of projects at the development stage or in a complete form. These fragments, called “Shots” (Shots), can be loaded in PNG, JPG and GIF formats with a high resolution of up to 10 MB and the ratio of the parties 4: 3. Animated GIF images are limited to 800 × 600 pixels.
Why do you need Dribbble:
- Declare yourself in the design community
- Get inspiration, looking at the work of other participants and improve their skills.
- Find new orders and customers (provided that you are an experienced and talented designer).
- Demonstration of a creative portfolio: Dribbble gives designers the opportunity to show their work in a small but aesthetic format called “shots”. This allows designers to present their skills and style in the most impressive and unique light.
- Search for inspiration: Dribbble is a huge source of inspiration for designers. They can look for and view the work of other talented professionals, receive new ideas and trends, and thus improve their skills and approaches to design.
- Feedback and communication: on Dribbble designers can receive feedback and comments from their colleagues and communities. This helps to develop and grow professionally, and also supports interaction in the designer community.
- Work and customers search: Dribbble gives designers to attract the attention of employers, recruiters and potential customers. Many companies are looking for talented platform designers to improve their products and brands.
- Professional development: Dribbble contributes to the professional development of designers through access to training materials, webinars, master classes and joint work with other talented professionals.
Dribbble is often compared with Twitter due to the similarity of the format: quickly, briefly and with an emphasis on specific content.
In general, Dribbble plays an important role in ensuring the connection and support of the creative community of designers, and also contributes to the development of professionalism in the field of design.
